A Taos jury has just returned the following verdict in the State of New Mexico’s criminal case against the leader of the Lord Our Righteousness Church:
According to the Associated Press:
Following the verdict, Bent said that God had told him that he would be convicted.
“Just as Jesus, they convicted an innocent man,” he said. (AP)
The Associated Press also reports that Bent, 67, faces up to a dozen years in prison.
